These Terms of Service govern your use of Laars (laars.ru), a personal health and habit tracking application. By creating an account, you agree to these terms.
1. The service
Laars is a personal health tracking application that allows registered users to log daily habits, set wellness goals, and receive personalised progress reports and account-related notifications by email.
2. Account registration
To use Laars, you must create an account with a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must verify your email address to activate your account — a verification email will be sent upon registration.
3. Acceptable use
You agree to use Laars only for lawful personal health tracking purposes. You must not:
- Create accounts using false identities or invalid email addresses.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other accounts or system infrastructure.
- Use automated tools to create accounts or submit data at scale.
- Resell or sublicense access to the service.
4. Email communications
By registering, you acknowledge that Laars will send transactional emails to your registered address. These include: account verification, password resets, weekly progress reports, habit reminders, milestone notifications, and security alerts. Transactional emails tied to account security cannot be disabled. Optional notification categories can be managed in your account settings.
5. Health disclaimer
Laars is an organisational tool for personal habit tracking. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Consult a qualified healthcare professional before making changes to your diet, exercise, or lifestyle.
6. Intellectual property
The Laars platform, branding, and codebase are protected by intellectual property law. Your personal health data remains yours — we claim no ownership over data you enter into the app.
7. Data and privacy
Our collection and use of your data is described in the Privacy Policy. You can export or delete your data at any time from account settings.
8. Termination
You may delete your account at any time. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms. Upon deletion, all personal data is permanently removed within 30 days.
9. Limitation of liability
Laars is provided "as is". We are not liable for decisions made based on data tracked in the app, or for temporary service unavailability.
10. Changes
We will notify registered users by email of material changes to these terms. Continued use of the service after notification constitutes acceptance.
